EX 2

Knowledge of processes of promoting literature in theory and practice through preparation, participation and follow-up of the excursion

The Poetry Prize Merano is awarded every two years in an open competition with several stages. First, all interested parties are invited to submit ten unpublished poems. From these submissions, a three-member jury will make a first selection, from which nine poets will be invited to the final round in Merano. There they will publicly present their poems in the elegant Pavillon des Fleurs from 14th-16th May, followed by an public discussion with the jury. On this basis, the winners will be determined at the end - and we will be there right from the start. In addition to the participation in the excursion to Meran, for which a cost subsidy is granted, the visit to the preparatory meeting on 31th March 2020 is compulsory (at 17.15 in the meeting room of German Studies, room 40904).

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
