Skills for critical examination and presentation of essential methods and strategies in Media Studies applied to a concrete example.

Promotional communication is always target-oriented communication. The target defines how verbal and visual instruments are used. These relations shall be examined and discussed. The course focusses on three topics: text and image, stategies of promotional communication, promotion and culture.

Discussion of different theories and models, sample analysis

Presentation, term paper

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
