Skills for critical examination and presentation of essential methods and strategies in Media Studies applied to a concrete example; knowledge of documents in a relevant field of Media Studies

Since Émile Zolas J’accuse (1898) open letters became a popular form to influence the public opinion. On the other hand, because they are very common, their impact has become more and more low. In addition, at the Age of the Internet other forms of Influence seem to be more promising. In the course we will analyze several samples in context of their communicational function in mass-media.
