Learning Outcome:

Students are aware of the differences between the phonetics and phonology of the German language and that of Russian. This allows them to approximate their pronunciation in Russian to that of a native speaker.

Contents:

This course is designed to help students to improve their pronunciation of Russian. First of all, we will learn about the differences to the phonetics and phonology of German as the biggest source of mistakes in pronunciation. The practical part will be dedicated to use these findings in exercises. This will gradually approach student's pronunciation to that of a native speaker.
