A good command of the essential rules of morphology and syntax of classical Latin.

Continuation of the course offered in winter term:

- the nominal forms of the verb,

- grammatical gender, tense and mood of the verb,

- the sorts of simple clauses,

- the use of mood and tense in subordinate clauses,

- the sorts of subordinate clauses,

- oratio obliqua.

Theory units are the foundation for the systematic training of Latin syntax by means of translations of singular clauses from German to Latin.

Two written tests.

To get a certificate active and regular participation is required (attendance is compulsory!).
