Scotland - that's more than bagpipes, sheep and whisky!
On the eight-day excursion, which is expected to take place at the end of July/beginning of August, we will follow the traces of Scotland's modern political and economic history since the 16th century from the "base" in Glasgow. The programme includes:
- Museums and historical sites of the history of Scottish nobility and bourgeoisie
- Places of the Industrial Revolution and Scotland's National Development in the 19th Century (Glasgow as "second City of the Empire")
- Places of recent political history (Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh)
- and of course: visit to a whisky distillery...
Total costs (depending on travel connection): approx. 1200-1500, -
Presentations of the course instructors and other local experts, preparation of historical material about the visited places.
