Confrontation with various sources and narratives referring to the historic space and its relevant current political setting. Prospective historians are getting used to prepare excursions under specific topics.
The organisation and content of the excursion will be discussed and an overview of Scotland's history since 1500 will be given.
Reading, discussion of relevant literature, preparation of material for the excursion.
Preparation of relevant topics for the excursion and final essay.
A list of research literature will be given
Successful completion of obligatory module 1
