The students will understand the biology of selected animal groups and will be able to assess the basics of living conditions and relevant interactions between apecies and their habitats.

Contents:

The course provides an introduction to general fish biology, the evolution and systematics of fish, as well as their adaption to changing living conditions in morphology, physiology and behavior.
