Students acquire basic knowledge of the history of the different disciplines of biology including gender aspects.
The lecture introduces and discusses the history of biology with special focus on gender studies in view of botany, microbiology, molecular biology, ecology and zoology.
Lecture, assessment is based on qualification essay, individual talks, contritbutions to discussions, and final exam.
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
Höxtermann – Einführung in die Geschichte der Biologie. Will be provided.
