 Gaining of general knowledge in the field of qualitative and quantitative research methods with a view to the ability to critically analyze and independently carry out small research projects.

In this course, central concepts for general methodological considerations are clarified and relevant methods of scientific data collection and evaluation are presented with special consideration of questions of educational science. Common qualitative and quantitative methods will be illustrated and discussed based on numerous examples.

Introductory lectures, plenary exchanges, online discussion forums, reflections.

Written exam (online exam). The presence is not obligatory in a lecture.
