Goal: A1
At this level the learner can understand everyday expressions and simple sentences aimed at the satisfaction of simple needs of a concrete type; he/she can introduce themselves and others and ask questions about personal details - e.g. where they live, whom they know and what things they own - and can answer questions of this kind; he/she can communicate in a simple way if the other person is sympathetic and speaks slowly and carefully.

Linguistic Goals:
to greet someone and say goodbye; to introduce oneself and others; to ask and answer questions about name, background, job, habits; to describe somebody/ something; to express liking; to express plans/ wishes; to suggest something
Structural Goals:
the present tense indicative conjugation - to express actions in the immediate present; definite and indefinite articles; subject pronoun - to replace subjects; negative answers; question words; adjectives agreement and placement - to describe people and objects in some detail; use of “hay” and “estar”; possessive pronouns – to indicate possession; direct object pronouns - to replace objects; preterito perfecto – to describe actions completed in the past but are still influencing the present
