Through the reading of Karl Rahner's "Grundkurs des Glaubens", the students shall learn how to reflect theologically and through selected criteria on different experiences and situations in order to come to a theologically founded opinion. The course aims thus at an exercise in theological thinking.

The classic texts of a Theology of Faith shall be interpreted on the basis of Karl Rahner's "Grundkurs des Glaubens" in regard to the individual responsibility of theologians today. The texts will be made available in form of a Reader. Directions for the readings and central questions for the "Grundkurs" will be shared in advance on OLAT.

Lecture and text interpretation.

Oral examination.
