Basics of the different sacraments of the Catholic Church (without marriage law)

The divine service and the sacramental action appears, beside the proclamation of the Word of God, as the catholic church’s central conduct of life. The celebration of the liturgy and the administration of the sacraments demand a legal provision, since they are official and public self-realization of the unified church as the People of God (Second Vatican Council). This course approaches the fundamental provisions on sacraments (except the marriage) of the book IV of the Codex Iuris Canonici, as well as divergent provisions of the CCEO. It will also concern the particular provisions of the local dioceses, the Austrian Bishops’ Conference and the latest magisterial positions. The participant’s questions will especially be taken into account.
