The aim of this course is to gain a better understanding both of the International Law order as it stands as of the European International Law tradition in particular

Within this course central issues of International Law will be discussed. In this context the aim is also to compare the specific "European perspective" (as far as it can be identified) with the "global perspective".

Lecture (partly in English) and discussion. It will be tried to involve the participating students in the best possible way. Also new didactic methods shall be experimented.
