The course aims at preparing students for the exam “Commercial, Corporate and Securities Law”.  

 The course deals with main aspects of the Austrian Code of Commerce:  Introduction to the types of entrepreneurs, Commercial Register Law, Company Name Law, commercial power of attorney, transfer of undertaking.

Besides focus will be laid on accounting provisions and provisions for business-related contracts such as sale of goods, commission business, freight forwarding business and warehousing business. 

Moreover the Austrian Laws on Commercial Agents and Estate Agents will be dealt with.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
