418055 PS Work with Children and Youths in Media Societies Outside of School
winter semester 2020/2021 | Last update: 21.04.2021 | Place course on memo listStudents will gain a fundamental knowledge and a repertoire of possible scenarios concerning the part played by media education in educational processes throughout a person’s entire lifetime. Furthermore, they will be put in a position to question the organizational framework of activities in the field of media media education.
Social processes related to the media and digitalization have changed media socialization and media use, as can be seen in work with children and young people outside the school environment. In-depth knowledge of various areas and subjects of work in this sector of education will be enabled. Relevant projects will be examined with regard to their underlying assumption, their direction and aims, and finally, the effect they have on individual and collective media-related reflections and forms of use.

Project work in cooperation with all regional educational institutions is planned (expected completion: January)
