* To discuss gender and diversity in the context of organization and management, to develop conceptual and analytical knowledge for a deeper understanding of gender and diversity in organizations, understanding the context and meanings of gender relations and dynamics in organizations and their implications for different management tools
* Particular attention is paid to knowledge on and critical discussion of change strategies aimed at equal opportuniites;  the students should be able to provide a differentiated assessment of the possibilities and limitations of equal opportunity policies in organizations.
* In addition, the module aims for the development and promotion of gender and diversity comeptence and the ability to work scientifically, ie for the systematic and critical-reflexive examination of theory and practice of gender and equal opportunity policies in organizations, and to promote teamwork, presentation skills and communication skills.

Different theories and concepts in the context of gender and organization; based on this theoretical background, we discuss different gender issues, such as e.g. gender mainstreaming, equal opportunity policy, management, work-family policies. We particularly pay attention to a critical understanding of approaches and tools of equal opportunities.
