winter semester 2020/2021 | Last update: 17.12.2020 | Place course on memo listThrough self-organized writing of a bachelor thesis in the area of human resources and work students should be trained to develop a scholarly grounded problem-solving competence. Thus, the requirements of the bachelor thesis correspond to state-of-the-art academic practice and meet the standards of business studies with regard to content-related and methodological aspects. Additionally to that students develop their social and communication competences through presentations and discussions in class.
Bachelor theses are developed based on given books and articles that have gained major influence in the field of Human Resource Management. Students select their preferred book or article from a literature list. They develop a research proposal that discusses the relevance of the book/article in the literature. They also outline the references that will be fundamental for the thesis and explain their method. Based on their research proposal and the feedback students write a conceptual bachelor thesis in a self-organized way. In the seminar the work progress and open questions are discussed.
