Introduction to some problems and the methodology of philosophy; acquaintance with philosophical reasoning; competency in scientific writing
“Philosophy is a battle against the bewitchment of our intelligence by means of language.” (Ludwig Wittgenstein, Philosophical investigations)
This course will offer a survey of different philosophical conceptions and different approaches to the goals, topics and methodology of philosophy. In addition, the course will provide an introduction to the methods of scientific work.
