603042 VO History, Concepts and Terms of Critical Gender Research: Critical Masculinity Studies
winter semester 2020/2021 | Last update: 06.10.2020 | Place course on memo listStudents understand the historical, political, social and cultural conditions of critical gender studies, especially critical masculinity studies.
Men increasingly move to the center of scoial and social scientific discourses. What was regarded as an unmarked norm loses its unquestionable character. But these processes are by no means straightforward and must be regarded as complex processes of reinterpretation of old certainties. In this course, we discuss how these processes can be understood from the perspective of critical masculinity studies.
