They can name essential theories of racism and apply critical approaches of racism research in practical settings. The students deal with intervention possibilities in the education work and are able to use them purposefully.
This seminar deals with pedagogical issues of discrimination and racism. We will discuss new topics based on publications and films.
Dealing with the topics of the seminar, discussion of new ideas and views, presentation, reflection and discussion.
Preparation of the text to be read (including the reading tasks), participation in the seminar (discussion, group work etc.), written reflection work (at least 5 pages), which must be finished during the seminar.
Will be communicated at the beginning of the semester.
