ability to explain the linguistic terms and concepts learnt in the foreign language (Italian) in a correct and comprehensible oral manner;
understanding of the connections between the various linguistic concepts and areas; ability to explain various connections.
The contents are based on the reading list texts (with possible focus in the course depending on the students' requests or need for clarification).
Reading and joint discussion of the reading list texts; clarification of any questions or doubts on the part of the students regarding the texts read.
Oral exam (the exact date has to be fixed with the professor individually, i.e. for each student separately)
Books of the "big reading list" concerning Italian linguistics (according to the BA curriculum 2015):
- DARDANO Maurizio, Nuovo manualetto di linguistica italiana, Bologna: Zanichelli, 2005 (or latest edition).
- D’ACHILLE Paolo, L’italiano contemporaneo, Bologna: il Mulino, 2010 (3a edizione).
Proficient language skills in Italian; already completed linguistics module 13; if possible already completed linguistics modules 14 and 15.
