Students can apply the skills and knowledge acquired previously in their studies in a professional environment. They will receive orientation about the conditions of possible professional and / or scientific occupational fields and acquire first practical, job-relevant qualifications. Students can critically reflect on the transfer of university-based knowledge into professional practice. They also check their own interest with regard to further focus in their studies or professional future.

Students organize and complete an internship of 300 working hours (e.g. during the lecture-free period) in an institution from a relevant area related to Romance studies such as education, research, culture, media, publishing, development cooperation, public relations, international and others. Within this UE, they reflect on professional practice and write the internship report.

Individual supervision and support of the internship (already completed or started) and writing the report.

Interested students should contact the teacher as early as possible at the beginning of the semester in order to individually set the arrangements for supervision.
Regardless of this, approval must be given by the head of studies, Ass.-Prof. Werner Marxgut, before starting the internship!
