Acquisition of an overview and orientational knowledge of Contemporary History based on central issues and guidelines. 

Overview of key data issues and guidelines and/or events of Contemporary History; developing of subjects based on concrete examples; learning to see traditional historiographical master narratives in relative terms. Additionally the lecture will treat special issues needed in teaching classes.
