Acquisition of basic knowledge of the scientific nature of the subject (theories, methods); key qualifications for successfully passing introductory seminars and seminars; acquisition of communicative and performative skills; knowledge of and practical use of subject-specific methods of working, as well as the basic principles of scientific working; critical reflection of questions and research results in historical sciences and their contexts with regards to society, politics and culture.

Introduction to scientific working: information management (researching, compiling bibliographies), text writing and comprehension, characteristics of scientific language, ethics of science, acquisition of media competence, the ability to work in a team and performative skills.

Lecture, short presentations, group work, discussions

Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, oral presentation, reading and short written papers.

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
