Acquisition of knowledge on the different forms of historic display and the skills to present historic relations on site and to deconstruct display formats.

Critical analysis of different sources and different forms of presentation; Future historians should be familiarized with the independent preparation, execution and follow-up of excursions and in this way be prepared for an important part of their professional practice.

In the run-up to the excursion, a first preparatory part of the exercise will be held, topics will be awarded to students they want to work on and present during the excursion.

Lecture of lecturer, discussion of literature, written elaboration of the chosen topic and oral presentation during the excursion.

Oral presentation with paper during the excursion, permanent attendance

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

Positive assessment of compulsory module 1. The respective proof ought to be produced until the end of October 2020.
