Graduates can plan, carry out, reflect on and evaluate lessons taking into account historical and political didactic aspects.

In the subject related practical course students repeat essential subject-related didactical basics (competency models, basic concepts, teaching principles, methods). The main topics are textbooks, curricula, media and materials for competence-oriented teaching in history and political education. Special attention is paid to evaluation and assessment. They plan lessons for school practice, carry them out, give and receive feedback and reflect their teaching activities. They test elements of research-based learning on the basis of concrete school experiences.
