The acquisition of basic skills in dealing with ancient sources and in composing a paper.
The transfer of skills in dealing with ancient sources of different genres and scholarly literature and the application of relevant and helpful methods will be transmitted by looking at sources for the ancient Roman Empire.
Combination of lecture, reading tasks and guided reading, exercises, short presentations and group work.
Written paper, exercises, participation during the course.
Relevant literature will be announced during the course.
461: positive assessment of compulsory module 1. The respective proof ought to be produced until the end of October 2020.
