Election and coronation in the later middle Ages
In the course we will have a closer look on the specific techniques of the election and coronation of the king in the Holy Roman Empire in the later middle Ages. One of the main topics of the course will be the development of the specific techniques in this period, especially in comparison with France.
Reading and interpreting sources and academic literature, discussion, lecture.
Participation in class, presentation of the results of individual research, written thesis
