In this course we will discuss why historical movies (Medici, Borgia, Maria Theresia)and historical fictions as songs with historical topics are so sucessfull and how they become fascinating. Furthermore we will analyse how we can use historical films and songs in teaching. With a few examples (incl. Games of Thrones) we will analyze the diffusion and percetion of history in film and music and mayby try by ourselves.

Positive assessment of two modules from the elective modules 1 to 6. The respective proof ought to be produced until the end of October 2020.
