The first part of the class gives an overview to the global situation of mineral ressources. The second part deals with industrial raw material processing and material properties of mineral materials.
The class discusses the global distribution, genesis and use of mineral ressources. A further aspect is the industrial treatment as well as physikal and chemical properties of metals and industrial minerals.
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
