winter semester 2020/2021 | Last update: 14.10.2020 | Place course on memo listThe course provides students with a theoretical as well as applied knowledge of the methods and concepts of general business administration including strategic and financial management. It teaches them to apply methods and concepts to current economic challenges and interrelations faced by companies within a dynamic and globalized economy.
Students know how to determine and make use of the relationships between various functions of business administration. They are qualified to critically reflect on systems of objectives as defined by individual companies. They approach the management process as a holistic problem-solving process. Students of the course are prepared to demonstrate and apply the basic principles of modern management in relevant decision-making processes – in startups as well as existing companies.
