Aquiring basic knowledge on morphology and life cycles of the different groups of cryptogams, as well as aquiring the independent capability to classify the large groups of cryptogams with special reference to typical endogeneous species and their ecological affiliations.

Contents:

Overview io the diversity and systemtic classification priniciples from algae to mosses.

Methods:

Practical work on mostly fresh materials in the research micrsocope and the stereomicroscope

Assessment:

written examination

Literature:

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
