The lecture provides an introduction to the organization of various tissues and organ systems. It is the goal to acquire a better understanding of the composition of tissues and organs with respect to light - and electron microscopical representation methods.

The histological organization and the microscopical anatomy of various tissues will be treated including epithelial tissue, connective tissue, adipose tissue, cartilage, bone, eye, ear, and the reproductive systems.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
