Basic knowledge of scientific theoretical nature of biology including gender aspects its history and its relationship to other disciplines are learned.

The lecture provides the chance to look beyond one´s own nose by discussing cultural and societal aspects, requirements, implications and interplay of life sciences.

Initial essay, presentation, participation in discussions and final essay will be assessed.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be provided online.

Essay: Topic will be provided after registration of students
