winter semester 2020/2021 | Last update: 19.10.2021 | Place course on memo listIt is aimed to provide knowledge for the understanding of the effect of environmental variability (especially climate change) on mountain forest ecosystems.
Influence of environmental and climate factors on tree growth and development of mountain forests exposed to extreme environmental conditions will be explained. Furthermore, simple methods for determining tree growth in the field will be demonstrated.

The one-day excursion will take place in the nature reserve Tschirgant-Bergsturz at the entrance to the Ötz valley. The following dates are available:
