The aim of this course is to offer students theoretical insights about sociology of scientific knowledge and science policy as well as practical knowledge about science communication: a) What is the difference between scientific knowledge and other forms of knowledge? b) How does science interact with society? c) How does science interact with politics (from governance to funding)? d) How does science communicate with society?
