The student will become familiar with the main aspects of the design of energy efficient buildings and will get competence to use the knowledge for concrete projects in new construction and retrofit.

Contents:

schedule of a retrofit; building envelope; ventilation; heating and domestic hot water; economical aspects; project examples; development and design of retrofit concepts using existing floor plans and data of a real construction project
