The aim of this course is to get to know examples from everyday life, from film and music which are quite odd and which lead to epistemological questions.

There are many odd and even odder perceptions which lead naturally to epistemological questions like: Can we perceive things as they are? Does our brain construct a world that does not exist independently of us? Could it be that all is illusion?

Reading, papers, presentations, discussions.

Written papers.
