222009 VO Dogmatic Theology III: The Faith of the Church with Regard to the Drama of the World
summer semester 2021 | Last update: 16.11.2020 | Place course on memo listKnowledge of main dogmatic issues regarding creation, grace, fall and eschatology. Understanding of a positive relationship between focus on God and independence for mankind and earthly reality.
The Teaching of the church (with biblical background) on the origin, nature and perfection of man and the world in relation to God as creator, redeemer and consummator. A primary attention will receive the relationship of human autonomy and relatedness to God, and the alienation of this relation due to a sinful situation. The spectrum ranges from the creation of the world (see the debate on evolution) and the sin of the world to the perfection of humanity in God („heaven“).
