The faith of the church in its overall context, based on the Creed of the Church; central issues of faith regarding its importance for the universal Church and for the act of faith.
Basics of the Christian faith will be presented and discussed regarding the fields of church teaching, personal experience, and scientific reflection.
The attendance of this course is mandatory and there will be an oral examination at the end. Regular participation in the discussion-boards is compensatory for a personal attendance, which is reduced in this blended learning course.

The course will be held in the form of “blended learning”, which is a combination of distance-learning (by e-learning) and sessions with physical presence. Because of the small number of three sessions with physical presence the attendance in each of these meetings is strictly required.
