418001 VO Introduction to Media Pedagogy
summer semester 2021 | Last update: 09.12.2021 | Place course on memo listGraduates understand media-pedagogical concepts and are able to implement practical media competences.
The lecture gives an overview of tasks, approaches, concepts and occupa-tional fields in media pedagogy and also deals with basic issues of media socialization.
The lecture offers insights into and basic knowledge about the history and theoretical dimensions of media education and media studies in regard to a critical, reflexive and action-oriented usage of media in educational contexts. The course raises awareness on controversial debates regarding media, discusses media theory and considers application possibilities in practical scenarios.
Blended learning: study material on plattform moodle. Dates for (online) meetings will be fixed at the beginning of the semester.
