Basic knowledge of core questions and methods as well as the role of philosophy within the sciences and humanities; acquaintance with philosophical reasoning; acquisition of basic knowledge with regard to scientific writing

Starting from selected philosophical texts we will investigate different understandings of philosophy, its aims, and methods. In addition, an introduction into scientific methods/writing will be given.
