Learning to deal with literature in historical contexts and periods, taking into account intercultural, social or gender-specific aspects as well as canonization processes and the evaluation of literature.

Contents:

Interrelations of literary and cultural history with the example of representative authors, works and genres, especially of the 18th and early 19th centuries; interactions developments in society, literature and cultural history (e.g. gender-specific developments); processes of canonisation and literary criticism
