The revised topics include applied linguistics and pragmatics with focus on the relevant literature of reading list.
Participants of this module will get a comprehensive overview of selected linguistic topics and their practical implementation in everyday language. The revised topics include applied linguistics and pragmatics, focusing on main areas of the reading list.
During the course participants will systematically examine the linguistic core topics of semantics, pragmatics and applied linguistics. This also includes a detailed analysis of systematic analysis of various subtopics such as structural and cognitive semantics, lexicology, socio- and variational linguistics.

- Presentations of the students on specific topics & subject matters of the course contents in Spanish
- Group discussion
In addition to a (written) final exam at the end of the course (with or without reading list, depending on the requirements), the participants will develop a short research paper (two to four pages) on the selected presentation topic. Likewise, the (oral) presentations, which the participants will give during the semester, will be included in the assessment of the course.
