Knowledge of concepts and categories of the analysis of lyrical, dramatic and narrative texts; analysis, interpretation and historical contectualisation of literary texts from different genres end epochs; research methods.

Introduction. Concepts and categories of the analysis of lyrical, dramatic and narrative texts, introduction to film analysis. Research methods and academic writing.

Short inputs by the course teacher, self-study and reading of theory and literary texts, discussion in in class and in small groups, writing exercises.

Writing assignments during the semester.
