summer semester 2021 | Last update: 18.11.2021 | Place course on memo listAcquisition of basic skills for dealing with historic sources and presentations of Contemporary History as well as skills in presenting the newly acquired knowledge orally as well as in writing.
The focus is on topics and events in the history of the First and Second Republic that were public "exciters" at their time and / or afterwards. They should be examined with regard to their causes, the actor-specific profile and their consequences. Finally the cases should also be compared with one another.
Interactive learning process: oral presentations, papers, discussions.
Course with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, active participation in discussions, oral presentation and handout, paper (16-18 pages).
Guided research of selected literature will be part of the required tasks.
