Basic knowledge of the theoretical fundamentals of political didactics and didactics of history.

Knowledge of current competency models, teaching principles of political didactics and didactics of history as well as lesson plans.

Introduction to the literature and theory of political didactics and didactics of history, the methodology and practice of teaching;

overview of current competency models and teaching principles as well as basic concepts; overview of lesson plans and their interpretation in learning media (textbooks and other publications); discussion of the role of media in political didactics and didactics of history; insight into research approaches (methods and goals) of political didactics and didactics of history.

Lecture, discussion about the additional learning material.

Written exam.
