At the end of the event, the participants should develop the ability to differentiate binding and non-binding elements in the Islamic doctrine and to convey this further.

From an internal theological perspective, the positions of the theological and legal schools related to the six articles of faith of Islam will be explained.

To formulate the principles of a "true" Islamic doctrine of faith was the common goal of these schools, which revealed the ever-present relationship between revelatory faith and rational reflection. Another learning objective of the event is therefore to get to know the different historical development lines of the most important' Aqīda texts (confessional writings) and to be able to analyze their argument patterns.
