Critical engagement with historical sites, objects and forms of (re-)presentation in memory cultures; skills for explaining historical phenomena in situ.

Contents:

The course will have a closer look on the history of Tyrolia in the Middle Ages. We will examines political, social, economical and cultural structures as well.

Methods:

Guided tours in the field, presentations of the course instructor as well as of the students.
